     Benjamin Franklin Kendall was born on 15 February 1826 at Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.1 He was the son of John H Kendall and Fannie Ray.1 Benjamin Franklin Kendall married Lucy Jemima Russell, daughter of Dr. Alpheus Russell, on 1 July 1853 at Union County, Oregon.1 Benjamin Franklin Kendall died on 24 November 1896 at Jamieson, Malheur County, Oregon, at age 70.1
