Cynisca Avarilla Martin died on 19 January 1942 at Baker, Baker County, Oregon, at age 89; 19 Jan 1942 is date on original funeral card.^4,5 She was buried on 21 January 1942 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Baker, Baker County, Oregon, Rev. Ralph C. Crouse officiating, services from West & Company Chapel.⁵
